Description
The Della Valle plant was founded in 1983 in the municipality of Vigliano d’Asti, in the heart of the Piedmont region. Thanks to the family’s enthusiasm and innovative methods, it makes special and high-quality grapes. This great Grappa is obtained from the distillation of their best pomace coming from the most suitable areas of Monferrato. Bain-marie distillation in small stills, then aging for a long time in barriques used for the aging of Marsala, a famous liqueur wine produced in Sicily, mainly in Marsala – from which it takes its name. On the nose it is characterised by a very delicate and intense aroma; its dry taste recalls candied fruit. Served at a temperature of 9-13ºC.
